Overview
A PCB vibration test bench is designed to simulate the vibrations that a printed circuit board (PCB) might experience during operation and transportation. The bench typically consists of a base plate or expander (horizontal or vertical), a vibration generator (electrodynamic shaker), a power amplifier, a closed-loop vibration controller, and fixtures/interface plates to mount PCBs of various sizes. Vibration can be applied in vertical, horizontal and rotational directions with controlled amplitude and frequency to reproduce real-world environments and reveal resonance points, weak solder joints or component failures.
