Overview
Global Vision Desktop (GVD) is an application that automates the control of graphic files to detect changes or errors, even during printing. The system establishes a validated master document and compares samples (printed or digital) against that master to detect differences in text, images, colours, barcodes and Braille texts.

Pixel-by-pixel graphic inspection
GVD performs pixel-by-pixel comparisons and validation for multiple elements:

• Images: detects changes or missing images by overlapping master and sample files.
• Texts: detects incorrect fonts, font size changes and textual changes.
• Barcodes: inspects and reads barcodes for validation without separate barcode hardware.
• Braille texts: checks and translates Braille to validate compliance with legal requirements.

Colour verification
Ensure correct colour reproduction with tools and reports:

• Use Pantone libraries to find closest colour matches, including metallics and pastels.
• Get accurate colour values in LAB, CMYK and RGB and replace colour references within the application.
• Generate colour inspection reports to communicate colour differences found to customers for approval.
