AKEMI® Mirror Gloss 2K-HS Clearcoat 2:1 is a high quality low-solvent polyurethane coat based on acrylate hardened with isocyanate. The product is characterized by the following properties: - - complies with VOC guidelines 2004/42/EG (2004/42/2B(d)(420 - - high solid content - - easy to apply - - excellent reliability against environmental and weather influence - - outstanding maintenance of brightness - - offers durable protection for the vehicle AKEMI® Mirror Gloss 2K-HS Clearcoat 2:1 is mainly used for complete or partial paintwork in the vehicle and industrial sector. 1. - Do not apply at object and material temperature below +18°C. The best application temperature is between +20 and +25°C. 2. - Two parts by volume of AKEMI® Mirror Gloss 2K-HS Clearcoat 2:1 are thoroughly mixed with one part by volume of AKEMI® Hardener for Mirror Gloss 2K-HS Acrylic Clearcoat 2:1 fast or normal. Addition of Acrylic Dilution normal: max. 5%. 3. - Application: Spray-gun, air, cup: Viscosity: - 17 - 20 s/4 mm cup/20°C Nozzle: - 1.2 - 1.4 mm, air pressure: 2 - 3.5 bar Spray-gun, air, cup HLVP: Viscosity: - 17 - 20 s/4 mm cup/20°C Nozzle: - 1.2 - 1.4 mm, initial pressure: 3 bar, HVLP-pressure: 0.7-1,0 bar 4. - Potlife 60 min at 20 °C and 65 % relative atmospheric humidity. 5. - Distance to object 10-15 cm. Spray 1 closed coat for adhesion and after 5-10 min 1 coat evenly, 1.5 spray runs.
