Description

The Positive Cylindrical Lenses, delicately manufactred by Altechna, are generally utilized to effectively focus light into a thin line for effective harmonic generation in non-linear crystals, laser scanners, spectroscopy, dye lasers, acousto-optics or any other applications related to such. These lenses are best applied for circularization processes of diode laser outputs, energy collection for linear detector or for coupling to a slit input.

These lenses are made from a material composition namely, BK7, FS, UVFS, CaF2, ZnSe, Si, Ge. In addition, these have a diameter tolerance of +0.0/-0.15 mm, whereas a thickness tolerance of ±0.1 mm with a centration of 90%. Also, the focal length tolerance of the lenses is ±3%, while the design wavelength is 632.8mm.
