The product is loaded via an elevator onto a closed platform to be sorted onto the grid belt which, by vibrating, allows both the advancement of the product for calibration and the separation of broken pieces or scraps which fall into the lower part of the machine where a special belt transport will evacuate them. Carrots , cucumbers and zucchinis or similar good quality vegetables are instead transferred to the Hopper which directs the remaining (oversized) product into an outlet, under which a special collection container or conveyor belt can be positioned.
