ConstructionAMARC industrial ovens consist of a welded carbon steel frame with load-bearing walls made of metal sheets and insulating mineral wool (asbestos free). The standard construction includes a painted carbon steel exterior and a galvanised steel interior. Sealed construction with seam-welded panels is provided in specific conditions.
- Structural sturdiness: Designed for continuous cycle operation and to withstand stresses during loading/unloading.
- Thermal insulation: Structure designed to avoid thermal bridges and ensure minimum heat dispersion and energy saving.
- Materials: Standard: painted carbon steel exterior, galvanised steel interior. Optional: AISI304 (or other stainless steel) for interior/exterior and accessories (control panel enclosure, ventilation unit, door systems).
- Sealed construction (welded panels) used when:
- operating temperature is high;
- there is high chamber pressure;
- processes generate dense and/or aggressive emissions.
OperationHeat transfer is mainly by air convection. Air is heated by resistive units and directed onto parts through purpose-made slits. Temperature regulation uses a digital temperature regulator paired with probes. Research into air flows yields even distribution, faster ramps and required heat transfer characteristics.
- Air flow configurations: Horizontal, Vertical, Mixed (horizontal/vertical)
- Typical achievable tolerance: +/- 2°C with respect to empty-chamber temperature setting (when correctly designed)
- All ovens undergo temperature mapping by qualified laboratories using certified calibration instruments.
Products RangeAMARC produces both custom ovens and standard series. Standard electric heated batch ovens are available in the FCS 150 series (up to +150°C) and FCS 250 series (up to +250°C). Custom designs cover dimensions, loading methods, control logic, safety devices, automation level and other customisations.
