As one of the most widely used gas detection techniques, the Photoionization Detector (PID), is commonly applied in both portable and fixed instruments for detection of a wide variety of organic compounds and some inorganic gases in ambient air.
MOCON’s next generation PID sensor family - the ev-NXT - provides a step change in the performance of PID sensors. The eV-NXT line of sensors has a patented design that removes the variability from PID sensors. In the past all PID sensors had significant variability in gain from sensor to sensor as lamps and detectors did not achieve consistent performance. The eV-NXT removes that variability and provides consistent gain and environmental response sensor to sensor. This improves accuracy and makes the sensor the easiest to integrate in OEM designs.
Our dedicated sensor engineers will assist you in integrating our intrinsically safe photoionization sensor into your products, reducing the time and cost associated with product development.
