For precise monitoring of these pollutants, an analyzer must be accurate and reliable in measurement of the various impurities of interest, which is extremely difficult as the stack gas is genuinely hot, saturated with moisture, and unhygienic. For this issue, the AMETEK Western Research Model 920 serves as a solution, as it is exclusively regulated for overseeing of the stack dump of multiple pollutants varying with concentration. It measures up to five pollutants at stack conditions, and with incorporation of an optional zirconium oxide sensor, monitoring of oxygen concentration is possible.
