Cooling: Water-cooled design
OverviewThe Sorensen PLW Series is a water-cooled, programmable DC electronic load engineered for high-power automated test environments. The design focuses on high power density, condensation protection and configurable options to meet specific ATE and industrial test requirements.
Features and benefits- Closed-case Calibration: Front-panel calibration routine allows on-site calibration without case removal or factory return, reducing downtime and logistics.
- Individual FET Protection: Each FET is isolated to prevent cascading failures in the event of a short, improving system reliability and reducing mean time to repair (MTTR).
- Ultra-low Voltage Operation: Supports operation down to approximately 0.1 V, enabling full rated current at very low voltages (typically below 1% of max rated voltage).
- Condensation protection: Design measures protect sensitive electronics in water-cooled systems from condensation-related damage.
- High power density and wide high-voltage selection: Offers high power per rack unit and a broad range of high-voltage models for diverse applications.
Applications- Automated Test Equipment (ATE) racks and bench testing
- Power supply, inverter and converter testing
- Battery, fuel cell and EV component testing
- High-current industrial system validation
