To meet the requirements for guiding special fibers, Amphenol Precision Optics offers its standard connectors – usually equipped with ceramic ferrules – optionally also with high-quality metal ferrules. This solution is available for a variety of common connector types, including ST, SC, FC, LC, and F-SMA connectors. Especially in high-precision laser applications in medical and device technology, the F-SMA connector (Fiber SubMiniature Assembly) is preferred. Amphenol Precision Optics offers this connector type in a total of seven different variants with knurl or hexagon, providing a wide selection for various application areas.
