The Electro forged Grating is manufactured from mild steel bearing bars and forged transverse bars. During the production process, the transverse bars are welded to the bearing bars at every joint under high pressure (>100 Tonnes) and current (approx.2200 amps). Gratings are produced in a panel size of 1000mm (W) x 6000mm (L), which are then cut to required spans, welded with banding bar and toe plates; thereafter hot dip galvanized.
