AST-PPD™ is a smooth, grit-free, gray-colored pipe joint compound. It seals threaded joints and will not crack or crumble. Made for easy disassembly. Contains no lead and is safe for all water systems. Features and Benefits : Sets soft non-hardening. Contains on-toxic inert oils and carbonate. No lead, no silicone Brushable to -15°F (-26°C). Temperature/Pressure Ranges : Liquid and Gasses : -15°F to 400°F (-26° to 204°C), up to 2000 psi (liquid), up to 1000 psi (gas).
