The horizontal packaging machine EFP FS 40 with rotating end seal crimps is the model with the longest crimps of the EFP FS Flow Pack series. It is used for packaging big size solid products in pillow bag form with flexible packaging film. The maximum product width that it can package is 36cm and the maximum film width is 810mm. It is suitable for packaging big size products like frozen pies and pizzas, and souvlaki pies. In case of heavy products it is manufactured with four pairs of fin wheels and a rolling tracks mechanism for better product packaging. EFP FS 40 model integrates three servo driven motors for controlling machine’s main motion axes – infeed conveyor, fin wheels, end seal crimps – as well as touch screen functionality for setting machine’s parameters. A fourth servo driven motor is almost always necessary because of the very wide and heavy packaging film reels. All settings of the machine are saved in recipes function for each product separately and machine is ready to start automatically when the product recipe is loaded.
