Environmentally friendly cleaning system SPUMA®

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY & EFFECTIVE WEED CONTROL WITH SPUMA® NCC Roads have, in cooperation with Aquila Triventek, developed an environmentally friendly thermal method to control weeds. The system is called SPUMA®. The weeds are covered by hot water and a layer of insulating foam, after which the unwanted plants dry out and wither away. The foam is environmentally neutral and approved by the EPA as a pesticide-free product. The foam disappears in short time and leaves no harmful substances. SPUMA® protects the groundwater and surrounding plants while fighting even stubborn weeds very effectively. MOST EFFECTIVE METHOD AVAILABLE SPUMA® is a unique alternative to all other forms of weed control. It is pesticide-free and makes no harm to soil, water or surrounding crops. It removes weeds 3-4 times as effective as gas burning, and there is no fire hazard. Furthermore it also controls weeds much better than, for example steam treatment. SPUMA® is the most long-thermal method against weeds. And the method can even be used in high vegetation and also works well against invasive and stubborn plants as hogweed, Japanese knotweed and dog rose. SPUMA® is effective against all weeds.
