Description

The new 8" tablet Gladius G0830 received the Computex 2016 Best Choice Award in smart mPOS applications category, at one of the biggest computing fair in the world, located in Taipei, Taiwan. Indeed, G0830 combined with docking station offers both advantages of mobile tablet and POS system in one global economic solution. It stands out thanks to its ergonomic design, its specialized for retail and logistics markets configuration and its very rich eco-system. As a reminder, Best Choice Award targets computing products on 3 criterias: fonctionnalities, innovation level, and potential over the world market. Important point: the product has a sophisticated dual-OS platform to support both Windows-dominated markets and emerging Android markets. The G0830 comes with multi-functions including barcode scanner, Wi-Fi, MSR and NFC, as well as an ergonomic design for POS users, e.g., a pistol grip with power bank for long hour operation (until 12 hours autonomy). The G0830 offers an optional cloud-based device management system– Node-Watch which is designed by ARBOR, providing businesses with convenient and cost efficient access to manage devices from a central admin console. Moreover, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections allow fast and real-time data transfer. Gladius G0830 has been presented as a mPOS in Computex, but this tablet is so polyvaent that it is useful for many other applications such as for logistics, maintenance, HORECA (hotel-restaurant-cafe), etc.
