Product Overview
The ATEX PC Workstation provides a sealed computing solution for potentially explosive gas atmospheres. It is a Restricted Breathing (Ex nR) enclosure designed to limit gas ingress to internal electronics during normal operation in accordance with EN IEC 60079-15. Supplied with a 24" integrated display and available with an Armagard-approved micro-PC configuration, or can accept customer-supplied equipment subject to Armagard written approval and certified power limits.

Designed for Zone 2 gas environments, the enclosure meets ATEX requirements to reduce ignition risk while allowing normal computer operation.
Offered as a complete solution with 24" Full-HD (1,500 NITS) integrated display, sealed industrial membrane keyboard and optional factory-configured micro-PC. Customer equipment may be installed subject to certified power limits and prior written approval.
IP66 ingress protection ensures dust-tight sealing and resistance to powerful water jets for washdown environments.
316 stainless steel construction suits wet, hygienic or corrosive environments and supports regular washdown when installed per guidelines.
External power switch allows power control without opening the enclosure (dependent on integrated PC auto power-on support), limiting gas ingress during operation.
Sealed membrane keyboard with touchpad facilitates cleaning and reduces contamination risk.
Internal cooling fan maintains internal temperature within certified thermal limits to prevent hotspots.
Flexible mounting options (wall, stand or worktop) enable installation at the most suitable location in the plant.
