Description

The “CMT-VSR Twin Pro ” is a versatile machine that balances cores at high and low speeds. Its advanced technology enables precision and accuracy, making it ideal for industries that require top-notch performance.

High-speed section.

The high-speed section includes a manually operated, fixed-mount correction cutter that ensures a fine-quality surface finish and a servo-controlled air valve for the highest measuring accuracy. It has been designed for high-speed core balancing of turbochargers in passenger cars and heavy-duty trucks, ensuring an efficiency of around 150 per 450-minute shift.

To install a core onto the machine, an adapter plate with two clamps is used to secure it. Compressed air is supplied through a sleeve with a nozzle system to drive the turbine wheel. Oil with the appropriate temperature and pressure is provided during the unbalance measurement. The measurement result is a vibration graph showing how the vibration changes as the rotational speed increases. The software indicates the angular position of the unbalance to make it easier to analyze the graph. Balancing throughout the full range of rotations extends the lifespan of a turbocharger and eliminates the unwanted whistling effect.
