The OpenPCS programming environment is fully compliant with the IEC 61131-3 standard, i.e. it allows the implementation of the program code in 6 languages: -Instruction List -Structured Text -Function Block Diagram -Ladder Diagram -Sequential Function Chart -Continous Function Chart OpenPCS is multitasking and allows: -structured programming facilitated by variable declarations and by the self-recognition of keywords -online debugging tools and integrated simulation -tool simplified project management thanks to the project browser In addition, three function libraries are added in the AsconTecnologic Edition that favor and improve the programming of control strategies: -Control Library (advanced regulation functions, PID, hot/cold algorithms, autotuning, etc.) -Auxiliary Library (programmer, calculation of moving averages, calculation of F0, Modbus RTU and TCP communication functions, etc) -AT I/O Library (configuration functions and access to distributed I/O modules)
