Safely charge and store lithium-ion batteries in Type 90 safety cabinets For the safe active and passive storage of lithium batteries, the asecos ION-LINE offers three different safety levels: • CORE: Comprehensive fire protection with the proven asecos evacuation and alarm forwarding concept. • PRO: Expanded protection when handling lithium-ion batteries with improved monitoring. • ULTRA: Improved fire protection, active smoke gas management, and expanded monitoring are useful even in sensitive areas with the highest safety requirements. The ION-LINE ULTRA is tested and certified in accordance with GS Principle EK5/AK4 22-01 for testing and certification of safety storage cabinets for active and passive storage of lithium-ion batteries. No matter what safety level you choose, all cabinets off er these key safety features: • Fire protection, inside-out and outside-in • Smoke detection • Alarm forwarding In addition, for the CORE and Pro models, you have these options: If you only want to store batteries in the cabinet, choose the STORE version. If you intend to charge (active storage) batteries directly in the cabinet, then choose the CHARGE version.
