OsmoTouch 40 is an automatic osmometer with a 40-place carousel autosampler for rapid determination of the cryoscopic point variation (osmolality) in biological fluids, pharmaceutical samples and other solutions. The instrument features a full-colour 7" touchscreen, real-time freezing-curve visualization, stable memory for over 4,000 results, PC software for data handling (CryoSoft Touch), USB ports for data export and firmware updates, and optional barcode/QR-code reader support. Models offer functions compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 including Audit Trail and two password levels for electronic records and signatures.

Applications and main uses
Compact and robust, OsmoTouch 40 operates at ambient temperatures up to 36°C. It is suitable for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and homeopathic quality control, clinical laboratories, hospitals and R&D labs. The instrument is particularly suited to the analysis of semi-viscous samples.
