The Hyaluronic Acid kits enable colorimetric quantitative determination of sodium hyaluronate using a visible spectrophotometer. They are intended for pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations, medical devices and fortified waters or dietary beverages containing added hyaluronic acid. Analysis of cross-linked (reticulated) hyaluronic acid is possible using the optional Cross-Linked HA supplement without changes to the test protocol. Liquid, solid and gel samples can be analysed; water dilution is required only when necessary.
