Active distribution boxes: CNE's range of IP67 active boxes offer a number of additional solutions. The modules consist of passive M12 base integrators with a choice of plugable electronic modules. These electronic modules are available for PROFIBUS DP, CANopen, DeviceNet and INTERBUS. The big advantage of the modular design is to be found in the pre-wiring of the passive modules by means of M12 or IDC type connectors. The decision in favour of a particular fieldbus can be made independent of the wiring of the passive modules. The fieldbus can be changed at a later date, without affecting the field wiring. To compliment our range of acrive boxes we offer a new AS-i module, with the following advantages: - electronics integrated ina a plugable connector module - compact dimensions - AS-i distribution box mounting holes compatible with passive boxes - AS-i cable access from both sides - units with infrared addressing diode. Also available now is our M8 acrive distribution box with built in PROFIBUS DP electronics.
