Overview

Atexxo Manufacturing BV explosion-proof VRV air conditioning system developed for operation in high ambient (desert/tropical) conditions. Systems are converted for safe use in ATEX Zone 2 gas/vapor hazardous locations while retaining original product functionality. The units use European-approved R-410A refrigerant.

Design & certification

Conversion to explosion-proof follows Atexxo’s process to provide compliant protection without altering core features. ATEX Zone 2 is the European equivalent of NEC Class 1 Division 2 (C1D2). Units are ingress protection (IP) and impact tested to ensure operational safety in demanding environments.
