Data transmission wireless module KWS

The modular KWS Wireless System kit has been designed by AUTEC to provide secure, reliable wireless connections. It features a straightforward input and output assignment procedure. In most installations no programming is required. KWS is the ideal solution for reliable radio communications in industrial environments thanks to its FHSS technology. The system consists of a TWS (Transmitter Wireless Sub-system) and an RWS (Receiver Wireless Sub-system). Each TWS or RWS consists of at least one Central Processing Unit (CPU Module), one Power Supply Module and some Expansions Modules, if necessary, used to customize the electrical interface with the machine. STRENGHTS • EASY TO SETUP: flexible and easy to set-up, does not require programming in most situations; • VERSATILE: availability up to 42 digital commands, 6 analogue commands (0/4-20 mA or 0-10 V), Fieldbus (CANopen, Profibus DP, PROFINET, EtherCAT® and EtherNet / IP™); • MODULAR: high expansion possibilities thanks to its modular structure, enabling the customization of electric interfaces with the machine; • SAFE: possibility to achieve a function up to PL d, cat. 3 (EN ISO 13849-1), as a stop function or emergency stop function; FEATURES • highly reliable thanks to the use of FHSS 870/915 MHz radio transmission; • radio connection designed to avoid interference generated by other equipment in the working environment; • typical working range of 100 meters (indoor environments with obstacles) and over 200 meters in open environments; • DIN rail mounting in the electrical panel.
