Round-end flat cables: easy insertion into PCB
Axostrip® is a range of Round-end Flat Cables (RFC) which can be soldered or inserted to achieve board to board interconnections. Made up of tin plated copper insulated with Polyester, Polyimide or Aramid tapes, Round-end Flat Cables (RFC) are designed to transmit power (3 A).
Flexible, Round-end Flat Cables (RFC) have a high resistance to bending and vibration. Their flat configuration allows for space saving.
Two types of ends are possible:
• Round conductors on both ends: lower production costs as no connectors are required
• Round conductors on one end and flat conductors on the other end: this dismountable version is compatible with ZIF connectors
