NEW MODEL of crankshafts grinding machines designed for automotive rebuilding works. The machine moves the grinding head. The workpiece is clamped by headstock fixed on the base and tailstock moving on table support by air. Grinding wheel carriage is movable on Z and X axes by ballscrew and guideways. This solution with grinding wheel moving permit to reduce the overhall machine dimensions. The CGA has manual control system by electronic encoders, multiple working functions: plongee grinding, shoulders grinding, cylindrical grinding, automatic dressing cycle. The machine base is made of COMPOSITAL® that is a new solution composed by resine-granite mixture filled on welded- steel casing that permit to:• Reduce vibration on the machine• Keep the temperature costant• Strength improvement
