Description

This grinding crankshaft has been designed for different requirements: reconditioning and production of individual pieces. Thanks to its flexibility and its options, this machine offers a great speed of use and manufacture, ensuring accuracy and repeatability. SPECIFICATIONS Height of centers 270 [mm] Swing over table 540 [mm] CONSTRUCTIVE FEATURES The machine moves the grinding head. The workpiece is clamped by headstock fixed on the base and tailstock moving on table support by air. Grinding wheel carriage is movable on Z and X axes by ballscrew and guideways. This solution with grinding wheel moving permit to reduce the overhall machine dimensions. The machine base is made of COMPOSITAL® that is a new solution composed by resine-granite mixture filled on welded- steel casing that permit to: • Reduce vibration on the machine • Keep the temperature costant • Strength improvement The tailstock moves by air suspension system that allows to move easily the tailstock without contact between table surface and the tailstock base.
