ATEX pallet lift PLM/2P/1250/2840/B/G

This ATEX Platform Lift is a double pillar machine with a Safe Working Load of 1250 Kgs and a lift height of 2840mm. The lifting platform will be big enough to allow a pallet (1200 x 1000 x 1800mm) to be loaded using a hand pallet or fork lift truck. At the upper level, there was a landing plate to allow easy unloading. The ATEX Plat-form Lift was constructed from mild steel with an epoxy coated finish and was bolted to the bottom of a 50mm deep pit. Lifting with this ATEX Platform Lift was accomplished via chains driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the one column with a crossover shaft to the other column. The lifting carriage was manufactured in stainless steel to give a hygienic finish. Safety Guard To PD 5304 Safety of Machinery The ATEX Platform Lift was installed into a lift shaft constructed from cladding. The structure of the safety guard was from 40 x 40 x 3mm mild steel box section but there was no need to mesh or sheet the guard other than at the door positions. Each door is electrically interlocked to prevent the ATEX Platform Lift being operated with a door open and in addition, the doors are mechanically locked closed whilst the ATEX Platform Lift is running. Each door may only be opened when the lifting carriage is at the appropriate level. ATEX Specification The ATEX Platform Lift was designed to be used in an ATEX Zone 2 & 22 environment with a temperature rating of T4 for gas and T135°C for dust.
