The ColourBrain® MFC 4.0 system is designed for the optical inspection of melamine paper coated fibreboards after pressing and edge trimming in longitudinal pass. The boards are inspected on both decor sides for decor and surface defects. A distinction is made between process-related defects (e.g. heat streaks or paper misalignment) or sporadic individual defects (e.g. soiling, decor particles).
