PSTN V.92 Modem The Bausch DinBox PSTN 485 SIA modem was specifically designed to meet the stringent requirements for the Medical Services and Electricity Metering Industry, as well as for alarm equipments. The embedded SM_H2 socket Modem with 3kV isolation is based on the well-proven Conexant (Harley 2) technology. Especially for alarm equipments the modem supports the SIA & Contact ID protocol. The DinBox PSTN 485 SIA) is a professional V.92 56K modem designed in a robust 22.5 mm wide DIN-rail housing with a wide range DC power supply (10-40 Vdc). Stable operation is guaranteed by the long term watchdog that monitors and automatically resets the modem in case of malfunction. The modem has a RS-232 and RS-485 2 and 4-wire interface. For security reasons it supports selective Caller ID answering with disabled automatic answering (ATS0=0). Firmware adaptations according to your specifications are possible on demand.
