Description

Spiral descents are a crucial component of conveyor systems, designed to facilitate the safe and reliable lowering of products by gravity. Their key advantage lies in their lack of moving parts, which enhances their operational safety and reliability. Compared to classic conveyors, spiral descents are also a more cost-effective and space-saving solution. The design of spiral descents is customized according to the specific product that needs to be transported. For example, bakery products require spiral surfaces made of rods, while sheet surfaces are suitable for ravioli transportation. The spiral surface is created by large diameter pipes wrapped around a central column. To ensure durability and resistance to corrosion, the structure of the descent is manufactured using stainless steel. In some cases, structural steel coated with powder may be used. Descent parameters are calculated from the following initial data: • Height of the entry and exit • Entry width • Product dimensions • Product parameters (type, temperature, surface, shape, etc.) • Capacity Based on the initial data is designed optimal structure of spiral descent with the following parameters: • Number of turns • Tier height • Height of the entry and exit • Inner diameter • The width of the tray Also, our company produces gravitational descents for plastic trays, rigid boxes, cans, caps, etc. The main requirements for the load are the rigidity of a frame and a low coefficient of friction with guides. Structurally this type of equipment represents a set of metal or plastic guides that specify a trajectory of the movement of the load and limit undesirable movements.
