Overview
The 45 x 45 mm steel square tube is a galvanised heavy-duty profile with a 3 mm wall thickness designed for high static and dynamic loads. It provides a stable structural element for base frames, chassis and industrial constructions exposed to intensive logistics operations such as forklift handling.

Square pipe joints (system)
A dedicated system of square-pipe joints is available for 45 x 45 mm tubes to build stable constructions from individual profiles. Joints secure the pipes with screw connections and are developed for heavy-duty frames and wheeled systems where a reliable base is required.

Joints — main types

• MC steel joints (45 x 45 mm) — connect square tubes (45 x 45 mm) to round pipe profiles (Ø28 mm); commonly used as corner connectors and for integrating round-pipe components (e.g. transport trolleys).
• MC4 steel joints (45 x 45 mm) — connect three square tubes (45 x 45 mm); suitable for robust shelves, racks and other heavy-duty constructions.

Compatibility

• 45 x 45 mm steel square tubes are compatible with MC and MC4 joints.
• Interchangeable configurations with aluminium square tubes (45 x 45 mm) are possible.
• MC joints enable connection to Ø28 mm round pipe profiles.

Add-on parts and special attachments
