Description

Overview
The IRPS welding robot is a simple-to-use system that requires no robot programming skills or CAD data. It is designed for welding single or small-series metal constructions and supports experienced welders while improving welding quality and production efficiency. Investing in an IRPS cell increases production capacity, shortens delivery time and strengthens industrial competitiveness.

VERNET BEHRINGER distributes, installs and provides services to IRPS robotic welding cells developed by Exner ingenieurstechniek.

Key features
  • No robot programming experience required
  • No CAD data required to program welding tasks
  • Software scans the actual workpiece and creates a model automatically
  • Automatic application of optimal welding parameters based on past configurations
  • Improves welding quality and efficiency; relieves multiple qualified welders
  • Operator starts the welding cycle via a button on the touch screen

3 steps
  • Step 1: Place one or more tacked workpieces on the working station without precise positioning
  • Step 2: Scan — the software creates a model from the actual workpiece and applies optimal welding parameters using previous configurations
  • Step 3: Weld — the operator starts the cycle via the touch-screen button

Available versions
  • FR version: scanning range 800 x 400 mm — single station
  • SR version: scanning range 1800 x 600 mm — one or two stations
