LENSES is the high-productivity 5-axis centre of the QUBE range designed for the cutting of lenses, masks and visors. Like all other machines in the QUBE family, it also inherits its distinguishing feature: each axis has a stroke of 300mm, so as to form a working area equal to a cube of 300mm side. QUBE LENSES adopts specific solutions designed for high production: its twin rotary axes allow to cut two lenses, two goggle masks or two visors simultaneously. The machining centre is equipped with four vertical spindles with a maximum rotation speed of 36.000 rpm that can be operated in twos. The advanced automatic loading/unloading system enables loading two lenses at a time and unloading into a special container, sorting them out into left and right lenses. The crib is equipped with a single stop-area belt conveyor, and it can contain max 1280 lenses or 600 masks. The workpieces are conveyed on specific removable pallets, equipped with two self-centering vices, which can hold four stacks of lenses or two stacks of masks or visors. It is possible to install an optional UV or Co2 type laser system to mark the lens or mask at the end of the processing.
