Bigneat’s BCAS controlled atmosphere storage systems with dry nitrogen gas environment are ideal for storing valuable specimens, moisture sensitive substances and chemical compounds. This moisture-free environment is maintained using dry nitrogen gas and the gas flow is controlled by feedback from O2 sensor monitoring to a PLC controller which operates solenoid control of the nitrogen inlet valve. Air is continually circulated within the cabinet to ensure uniform dry and oxygen free atmosphere. Optional is the incorporation of Chemcap™ carbon filtration for the removal of vapours such as DMSO. CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS The cabinet is manufactured from mild steel and finished with an epoxy coated, chemical resistant white coating. Vertically hinged doors offer 100% seal integrity and have integrated blue tinted acrylic windows (6mm thick). NITROGEN GAS SYSTEM Nitrogen gas inlet and outlet via 1/2 inch BSP connections. Flow meter 0-100l/m. Regulator 0-2bar. Regulator gauge 0-2bar. Cabinet pressure gauge 0-250Pa.
