Circular grit chamber SANDE SERIES

SANDEXX scoops out sand using a wheel body and cleans or dewaters this valuable raw material in a highly efficient and flexible way. Efficient because cleaning and dewatering take place in one working step. Flexible because both coarse and fine sand can be scooped out due to the use of a double sand trap. A second wheel body makes this possible. On top of this, SANDEXX gives an impressive performance thanks to its resistance against quantity and composition of the feed slurry as well as its low maintenance and operating costs. SANDEXX at work The sand-water mix to be processed – the feed slurry – runs through a feed impact chamber which is protected against wear, and into the sand trap. The sand from the tub is scooped and dewatered by means of the buckets inside the wheel body. The buckets are equipped with suitable dewatering mats. Suitably large pools ensure an efficient recovery of fine sand and separation of elutriable material.
