Central power feed to 5V or 12V DC Black Box KVM switches and extenders with up to 20 watts per port. Available with 8 or 16 independently controllable 12V outputs. Use 12V to 5V converter cables to connect KVM units with 5VDC power feeds, or 3-pin lockable cables for KVM units with 12VDC power feeds. 3rd-party API control support. These hubs provide up to eight or sixteen power outputs in one place. The power distribution units feature a single power supply with an optional secondary, to deliver full power redundancy. The Central Power Hub (CPH) supports 5VDC or 12VDC devices in a 1U chassis for convenient rack mounting. It provides power to grow your installation on demand. The power output ports are lockable, preventing accidental disconnects. Each output is limited to 20 Watts at 12V. Hot swappable power modules. The chassis can supply two 460W power modules slot into the back of the Power Hub chassis. Conversion from the mains AC supply to DC voltage occurs within these modules. In situations where redundancy is required, the Power Hub will equally balance a normal load between them.
