BLANKE DIBA-LINE SL is a thin layer linear drain with a grate cover made of stainless steel, which is mounted on a robust drain body made of polypropylene. Variability is the byword when installing the stainless steel channel above the composite sealing. Depending on the installation location it can be rotated through 360°. The drain body for horizontal installation is fitted with a DN 40 drain-top connector to connect to the building drainage system. The drain-top connector can be shortened to facilitate an installation height between 62 – 108 mm. The drain-top connector is factory-fitted with an integrated waterproofing membrane (DIBA) for easy bonding to the composite sealing. The construction of the siphon installed under the screed makes rapid drainage possible. Limescale from water, hair, skin particles, soap, shower gel and sham-poo contribute that soiling in the channel and drain area arises with daily use of the shower. This soiling can be removed as necessary. For convenience, household, non-aggressive or non-abrasive clean-ing products can be used. These must not contain any solvents or acids. Furthermore, the grate covers must not be cleaned with steel wool or wire brushes.
