The tread of the POSI series is made from a highly heat-resistant silicone rubber with a hardness of 75 Shore A. This is vulcanised onto a wheel centre made of highly heat-resistant thermoplastic material. The advantages of silicone rubber lie in the good floor preservation and low noise levels during transport. It is also highly elastic, odourless, highly resistant to ageing and corrosion-resistant. The POSI series is provided with a plain bore as standard. The wheels and castors in the POSI series can be used at temperatures between -20 °C bis hin zu +250 °C. The floor-preserving and corrosion-resistant wheels are mainly used in autoclaves and bakeries due to their resistance to hydrolysis.
