The tread of the GB series has a hardness of 92 Shore A. It is made from high-quality Blickle Besthane® polyurethane, which was developed in-house, and moulded directly onto a cast iron wheel centre. The tread is hydrolysis-resistant and also offers a high dynamic load capacity and excellent levels of rolling resistance. Due to their rugged design, the wheels in the GB series are also suitable for higher speeds and handling loads up to 30 tons. The series is frequently used for heavy duty applications on transport units and industrial trucks and is also used in the automotive industry. If the load capacity of the standard swivel and fixed castors in the GB series is not enough, the corresponding twin castors can also be used. These can be used to transport even heavier loads. They are also used in driverless transport systems.
