Description

The 5.5 T E55W is the first Bobcat wheeled excavator. Equipped as standard in single tyre configuration, the E55W has an operating weight of 5550 kg and offers a maximum digging depth of 3495 mm. Standard equipment also includes air conditioning, overload warning device, a second auxiliary line as well as safety valves in the boom and dozer blade hydraulic systems to prevent these assemblies from dropping in case of a cylinder pipe rupture. Lifting capacities, cycle times and swing torque ensure unparalleled productivity at low noise levels. The oversized cab provides space for operator comfort all day long. The instrument panel is designed to allow a quick check of the machine working condition during operation. Visibility to the working area is enhanced thanks to the pipe routing inside the boom width. The suspension lock makes the undercarriage more rigid for optimum stability. Thanks to powerful driving force and the highest swing limit angle in its class, the E55W is capable of working efficiently on slopes. The electronic injection system optimizes fuel consumption and reduces emissions as well as engine noise. The auto idle system considerably reduces fuel consumption. Thanks to computer aided design and use of robust materials and components tested under extreme conditions, this model offers excellent reliability, which contributes to low lifetime operating costs.
