Description

Product overview
The Lubo Glass Cleaning System is composed of vibrating screens with flexible screening decks and integrated wind shifters. It is designed to remove fine glass and light contaminants from mixed material streams to protect downstream air systems and improve end-product purity.

How Lubo Glass Cleaning System works
The cleaning process uses sequential screening and air separation stages:
  • Primary vibrating screen (flexible deck): removes the 0-10 mm fraction containing fine glass that generates wear on air systems.
  • Covered conveyor with wind shifter and integrated reception chute: conveys material from the primary screen to the air separation stage.
  • Secondary vibrating screen (flexible deck): removes the 10-25 mm fraction, leaving a heavier material stream.
  • Second wind shifter with integrated reception chute: extracts the majority of remaining contaminants with approximate bulk density 25-50 kg/m3.

A presentation/integration video is embedded on the product page to illustrate the step-by-step operation and typical installation details.

Other Glass Cleaning System advantages feature
  • Purity: Removal of contaminants increases the purity of the end product.
  • Less wear and tear: Elimination of small, sharp glass pieces reduces wear on downstream equipment and air systems.
  • Easy maintenance: Design enables high uptime and reduces maintenance and cleaning time.

Technical specifications
  • System type: sequential vibrating screens with flexible screening decks and integrated wind shifters.
  • Primary fraction removed: 0-10 mm (fine glass).
  • Secondary fraction removed: 10-25 mm.
  • Wind shifters: positioned at conveyor ends, with integrated reception chutes following each screen.
  • Contaminant removal capability: majority of contaminants with approximate bulk density 25-50 kg/m3.
  • Material handling: covered conveyor between screens and wind shifters.
  • Operational benefits: increased product purity, reduced wear on downstream equipment, simplified maintenance.
