Description

Overview
The Gard’Active fence secures external perimeters by detecting attempted break‑ins and intrusions. Based on taut‑cable technology, it triggers alarms and, depending on the detection unit selected, can deliver an electric repulsion shock to deter intruders. The system is configurable to site constraints while maintaining an unobtrusive, integrated appearance.

Functionality
Gard’Active is built from several rows of horizontal taut cables mounted behind an existing boundary fence or as a standalone solution. End posts are aluminium (plain or coated) and intermediate guide posts are fibreglass placed at regular intervals (typ. every 7.50 m). Composite insulators equip the end posts. The system is compatible with gates and pedestrian wickets and protects the perimeter uniformly. Detection is triggered on cable cut, shear, traction or climbing, and the selected detection unit manages alarm reporting and repulsion functions.

Security and performance
Gard’Active complements an existing fence to provide an aesthetic and highly deterrent perimeter solution. The detection concept delivers a very low false‑alarm rate and is designed for fast, straightforward maintenance. The system can operate in high‑tension (with repulsion), multi‑zone high tension, low‑voltage detection (without repulsion) or fully mechanical detection modes for environments with strong electromagnetic disturbances.

Versions
  • D25 — High‑tension detection — Monitored 1–2 detection zones in high tension with repulsion mode; detects cut, short‑circuit and triggers alarm.
  • DP24 — Multi‑zone high/low tension — Independently monitors and supplies up to 6 detection zones; supports detection and repulsion modes with zone‑specific alarm reporting.
  • DP10 — Low‑voltage detection — Supplies 1–2 zones in low voltage for detection only; reports cuts and short circuits to alarm management.
  • DP10‑AB — Ram‑raid (anti‑bélier) detection — Low‑voltage unit detecting forced penetration by impact; uses a guided INOX cable for localized alarm reporting.
  • DPM10 — Mechanical detection — Passive mechanical detection without power supply; triggers on cable cut or traction and is suitable for sites with high electromagnetic interference or heavy vegetation. Can be electrified if repulsion is required.
