The adapter box PRO-SPLIT enables the operation of up to four stud welding guns on one stud welding unit. Thereby, different adjustment values for each gun can be stored on the stud welding unit. When a gun is used the previously stored values for this gun are automatically set up. Therefore time-consuming retooling (e.g. for different stud diameters, different welding elements) can be avoided. Moreover, it is possible to increase the throughput by using several welders.
