Tie rod

Mainly used in the automotive sector, produced with 42CrMo4 steel, in compliance with the EN 10277 standard. The production range goes from diameter M.12 × 1.5 to M.60 × 4 with length 100 mm to 6.000 mm (from M.12 × 1.5 to M.36 × 3) – from 100 mm to 6.000 mm (from M. 36 × 3 to M.60 × 4) with metric fine thread (MB). The mechanical characteristics correspond to those of the EN 10277 standard. The bars can be supplied with electrolytic galvanizing and dehydrogenation (maximum length 2,300 mm), hot dip galvanizing (maximum length 1,300 mm), Geomet, Zinkel, nitrocarburizing, cataphoresis. Packaging depends on the length of the bars. The standard requires the bars to be packed on pallets, bundles up to 3,000 mm long placed on special pallets, wooden crates. There is also the possibility to protect the threads of the tie rod with a special net.
