Description

The Bioselect BS is positioned vertically. The DS content of the solid phase is infinitely variable between 12 and 22 %. Pumps, control technology and separator are installed on a metal frame with minimum space requirements. All components are driven by electric motors. The Bioselect BS is available in three sizes. The BS 40 processes flow rates of up to 40 m³/h, the BS 75 up to 75 m³/h, while the BS 150 can handle flow rates of up to 150 m³/h. Operating principle The feed pump (1) conveys the liquid to be separated into the Bioselect BS (2). The solid phase is separated from the liquid phase in the Bioselect. A thick matter pump (3) closes the Bioselect at the axial end (bottom) of the separating unit and conveys the solid phase for further use. The pump speed determines the DS content of the solid phase. The separated liquid phase drains off without pressure. Alternatively, a liquid phase pump (4) conveys the liquid phase to its destination. Börger control technology (5) coordinates pump and Bioselect operation perfectly. Operating principle For maintenance work, the entire Bioselect can be moved from a vertical to a horizontal position by means of hydraulics. Thanks to the low-maintenance design, maintenance work can be carried out by the operator of the separation technology.
