Description

Breton Kobra is the 5-axis CNC machining center that embodies the best of technology and decades of stoneworking expertise, delivering top-level performance in terms of precision, speed, and reliability—all within an extremely compact structure. Breton Kobra is much more than just a 5-axis CNC machine: it represents the synthesis of Breton’s deep expertise in stone processing and cutting-edge technology. Featuring a compact, rigid, and innovative design, the Breton Kobra and its Hornet orthogonal head fully leverage A and C axis kinematics. This expands its operating range and allows for precise management of extreme inclinations and complex geometries. Stability, accessibility, and dynamic performance are ensured even in the most challenging applications. Featuring a monobloc structure with linear motors on the X and Y axes and absolute linear scales, the machine provides smooth and precise movements. This eliminates mechanical backlash and the need for routine maintenance, while also simplifying the installation process. The result is consistent precision, high-level finishes, tool changes up to three times faster, and a longer tool life, even under the most demanding operating conditions. Integrated into the Hornet head, the ISO-40 spindle is specifically engineered for stone processing, delivering a combination of strength, reliability, and versatility. The system is completed with advanced features like a closed-loop spindle cooling system, the Breton Maestro 5 Mill software for continuous 5-axis CNC control, and a tool magazine that can be accessed during operation.
