Among them, two alloys stand out for being composed of high purity copper and significant electrical conductivity: Cu-OFE and Cu-PHCE. These two alloys are subject to the EN 13601 Standard which establishes the requirements for copper products for electrical applications. To determine the conductivity of the material, the copper bars are subjected to the electrical properties test at 20°C in such a way that the volume resistivity, mass resistivity and conductivity are determined. In addition, the ampacity according to DIN 43671 determines the alternating and direct currents depending on the size of the copper bar.
