The E²M is the successor of the world renowned GC/MS system EM 640 and represents increased mobility, reduced size and most crucially enhanced performance. The system is multirole and can be operated static or on the move when mounted in a vehicle. The E²M quickly identifies organic chemicals from any medium (soil, water, air) using simple sampling techniques. E²M empower the detection of all threat-relevant Novichoks. Detecting Novichok agents typically poses a distinctive challenge due to their low vapor pressure and elevated boiling points, rendering gas-phase detection exceptionally difficult. However, the standard E²M and MM2 system now enables efficient analysis of real-world, complex samples, covering ALL threat-relevant Novichoks, not only the “standard” A-230, A-232 , and A-234!
