•BFDR:Circular fire damper with fusible link that melts at 72°C
Products casing and blades are manufactured from 1,5 mm galvanized sheet and damper handle is manufactured from 5 mm galvanized DKP sheet. Furthermore, fire resistant rockwool with 70 kg/m density and 20 mm thickness is used between the walls of blades.
Fire dampers are used for preventing the spread of fire and smoke through ventilation systems in the buildings. When the fusible link mechanism reaches to 72°C, it closes the damper blade by driving the return spring and by that it prevents the fire to spread to other environments. Fire dampers also can be controlled with servomotor by automation system. In smoke dampers, the damper is opened by 24 Volt or 220 Volt commanded servomotor according to the signal that comes from automation system and the smoke extraction is done. Fusible link is fixed to the surface where the damper handle is attached, in such way that it can be replaced easily.
